Bruce Marginson

Based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Bruce is a dedicated family man and community leader who is currently in give-back mode through the various business incubator/accelerator and other charitable and community initiatives.

Rising through the ranks of industry giant Intercon Security in the 80’s and 90’s to the position of Vice President, Western Canada, Bruce grew western Canadian operations and helped facilitate a significant divestiture of the company in 2004.  During his 18 years at Intercon his division consistently grew and eventually out-performed the rest of the company.

Bruce then founded Fusion Security which has grown to over 400 employees and serves clients throughout Canada east of Quebec and several significant international companies.  A full-service firm covering the full gambit of security from all forms of personal and property protection, utilizing advanced technology and high-level human resources, to the latest innovations in cyber security and ransomware protection.

One of BC’s largest tech company exits is a success story Bruce played a significant role in.  He  was one of eight founders/investors, and corporate director of a disruptive camera technology company that was sold to a larger player for over $1.2 billion.

Bruce is an avid fisherman and has travelled the world pursuing this passion.

Bruce has an education background in Computer Design, Programming and Robotics (college) and has supplemented his education though ongoing management and leadership skills training, it including UBC Sauder School of Business with designations in Sales and Marketing.  Bruce has a passion for life long learning.
