Calgary, Alberta)  Meridian Merchant Capital Canada is proud to host an accredited investor private presentation:

Monday, July 23, 2009

10am

30th Floor

West Tower

Petro Canada Centre

Calgary, Alberta

Meridian will be introducing their client MDC Developments Inc. and their exciting downtown hotel project MDC Hotel (A Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and part of the Starwood group).  An equity investment opportunity for accredited investors will be presented by MDC.

This is a private meeting open only to accredited investors who are invited by Meridian. Accredited investors interested in being invited to this presentation should contact Randy Lennon at 403-538-2130.

In late 2007, a mixed use commercial/residential building in Calgary’s Beltline was acquired by MDC. The 11 storey building, located at 239 – 12th Avenue SW, has since been stripped to the floorplate and is ready to become Calgary’s newest Four Points by Sheraton! Located within blocks of the Saddledome, Roundup Centre and downtown core, it will surely become one of Calgary’s premier accommodations.

While the MDC Hotel’s proximity to Calgary’s major attractions is a key strength, it is anticipated that it will also be able to offer room rates 30% – 40% less than competitors located in the core. Additionally, the Calgary hotel market as a whole has continued to be one of Calgary’s strongest and most resilient to global economic forces. In 2008 the Calgary Hotel market grew by 6% (as measured by REVPAR), a rate nearly unparalleled across other sectors.

The MDC Hotel opportunity is more than the chance to get involved with one of Calgary’s most resilient markets; it is a chance to be involved with the next industry leader! Attend on July 23, 2009 at 10am to learn about equity opportunities in the MDC Limited Partnership.

The above summary is a brief description of the project and is not a solicitation to invest in the MDC Hotel. Persons interested in investing must be accredited investors and must attend the presentation by MDC. If you are unable to attend, please contact Randy Lennon to arrange an alternative meeting with MDC.
